A night out of another era

Every New Year’s Eve, Rick’s Café in Casablanca becomes the setting for Midnight at the Oasis. Live performances, a composed gala dinner and Moroccan hospitality come together in a restaurant dressed for one extraordinary night.

The rhythm of the night

Two live bands, each with a female vocalist, take turns throughout the evening: a jazz and Latin ensemble bringing swing and warmth, followed by an Arabic music band carrying the celebration with festive classics.

A composed three-course gala dinner (fresh salad, tender beef medallion & shrimp surf & turf, and roasted pear with amlou) alongside all-night oysters, hot and cold canapés, Moroccan pastries, and tea served in the traditional way.

A few things to know.

When is Midnight at the Oasis?

Midnight at the Oasis is Rick’s Café’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration, held every December 31 in Casablanca, Morocco. For New Year 2027, the celebration takes place on Thursday, 31 December 2026, welcoming guests from 8:00 PM.

What does admission include and what is the ticket price?

Tickets are 1,500 MAD per person. Admission includes a confirmed table for the night, a composed three-course gala dinner, all-night oysters, canapés, Moroccan pastries and tea, live performances by two bands (jazz/Latin and Arabic music), lounge open bar until 1:00 AM, and complimentary roulette.

Is this a standard restaurant reservation?

No. Midnight at the Oasis is a ticketed private gala. A standard dining reservation request does not provide admission. Your table is confirmed only once your ticket purchase has been paid.

How can I buy and pay for my tickets?

Tickets may be paid in cash directly at Rick’s Café, by bank wire transfer, or through a secure payment link provided by our concierge. Contact booking@rickscafe.ma or call +212 522 274 207 to arrange payment.

What is the dress code?

Elegant eveningwear is part of the spirit of Midnight at the Oasis. Vintage touches inspired by the 1960s and the romance of the 1942 film Casablanca are encouraged. Sportswear, shorts, and casual beachwear are strictly prohibited.

What is the beverage and open-bar service?

The lounge open-bar selection (standard beers, house spirits, cocktails without champagne, house wines, soft drinks, juices, water and coffee) is included until 1:00 AM when ordered and served at the lounge bar. Table-service alcohol, premium spirits, and champagne are billed separately.

Where is Rick’s Café located?

Rick’s Café is at 248 Boulevard Sour Jdid, Casablanca 20110, Morocco. Valet parking and concierge assistance are available upon arrival.

Admission & seating

This is a ticketed event, not a standard restaurant reservation. Each ticket admits one guest, and the table is confirmed only after payment. Seating is assigned by Rick’s Café using its normal configuration. Earlier purchases may improve the available seating options, but no particular table, position or view is guaranteed.

Beverage service

The lounge open-bar selection is included until 1:00 AM when ordered and served at the lounge bar. It includes standard beers, house spirits and liqueurs, cocktails without champagne, house red, white and rosé wines, juices and soft drinks. Water and coffee are also included.

Any beverage ordered at the table is charged separately, except the included water and coffee. Premium spirits, premium wines, champagne and sparkling wine may be ordered through table service or from the main bar on the ground floor and are charged to the guest’s bill.

Music & entertainment

A jazz and Latin band with a female vocalist and an Arabic-music band with a female vocalist perform during the evening.

Guests may also join the complimentary roulette game in the lounge. Rick’s Café provides the chips and keeps score; no real money is wagered, the chips have no cash value, and the top player receives a small surprise prize near the end of the night.

Dietary requirements

A vegetarian alternative is available. Please tell us about food allergies before the event and remind the team on arrival. Our kitchen will take declared allergies seriously and prepare an appropriate dish wherever reasonably possible, but Rick’s Café is not a specialist allergen-free kitchen and cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces from ingredients handled on the premises.

Purchase, cancellation & transfer

  1. 01 Tickets may be paid in cash at Rick’s Café, by bank transfer or by secure payment link.
  2. 02 Tickets are final, non-cancellable and non-refundable once purchased.
  3. 03 If Rick’s Café cancels and does not deliver the event, the ticket price will be refunded.
  4. 04 A ticket may be transferred after verification that the request comes from the original purchaser. The name change is valid only after confirmation by Rick’s Café.
